Chris Charway studied art at Ghanatta College of Art and the Ankle school of Art after abandoning his early ambition to be a footballer.

With acrylics he uses his distinctive and aggressive brush techniques to bring life to his subjects. He has become well known for his ‘invisible’ art.

His works are amongst the permanent collections of the Fort Frederick Museum, St Croix, Virginia and various private collections.
